Our lead designer, Layla, is a Spokane girl at heart. She grew up here, surrounded by family who still fill homes across Spokane and Coeur d'Alene. Her love of design took her to Bellevue College, then on to a career in Seattle, Dubai and San Francisco, where she spent more than 20 years helping people create spaces they love.
Then she came home.
Today Layla and her husband, Najib, who manages every installation, run Shade Design Gallery as a family-owned, locally owned business, not a franchise. Layla brings the samples to your door and listens to how you live. Najib's team measures and installs every window treatment with care.
